Ushuaia
First place we have to recommend is Kuar. It is a bit out of town but definitely worth the trip (and it is right next to the aquarium. I wish I had known there WAS an aquarium!) Anyway it is insanely well located on the clast with huge bay windows that look out over the water, giant steps to lounge on andhave a drink, and live entertainment most nights. The food was great too, we had steak which was both artsy to look at and tasty (you know how sometimes you get one and not the other?) Also we were with Canal Adventures and they gave us a free round and catered the lunches which were very tasty, so something else to think about when planning your days down there.
Another place we tried was Volver, and it was OK, not spectacular, thought the view was also great. It wasn´t too overpriced as other places were along that stretch, but I would say it was kinda like an average dinner place.
We went to the Banana Bar for drinks because they had cheap pitchers of beer and were the only place at all that we saw which served pitchers. We went for lunch on a freezing day and were pleased to see soup on the menu, but the soup was the just-add-water kind so it wasn't anything fantatic. Pasta was good and we left full and happy, and for the money it's not a bad option when looking for a quick meal-
